Animal Therapy or also called pet assisted therapy refers to the use of trained animals to help people recover from certain physical and mental illnesses. There are exact types of animal therapy involving a wide variety of different animals. Both of these conditions can vary greatly depending on what the person is suffering from.

Animal Therapy also has the concept of human-animal bond, which is the concept of a mutually beneficial relationship between human and animal. With the effects of this relationship improving health and mental wellbeing to both. Effects such as reduced stress is a major help to those who need pet assisted therapy.
